About Us
Honoring Melody Mya: A Mission Born of Love
Melodies for God is a non-profit organization inspired by the life of Melody Mya, who at just 19 years old, departed to be with the Lord on July 16, 2024, leaving an indelible mark of faith, tenderness, and service to God and her family, as well as to different communities.
This project was born from the heart of her mother María Sánchez, her sister Daysi Jovanna, and her little niece Faith Athena. It is a calling to transform grief into divine purpose.
Providing support and spiritual, emotional, and physical comfort through different in-person resources.
As well as offering companionship and strength to mothers whose children have already departed to be with the Lord.
From the age of six, Melody began serving with the love of God, bringing food and warmth to people experiencing homelessness, and offering her time and love to the elderly in nursing homes.
A Sacred Calling to Serve and Restore
Our Mission
To provide spiritual, emotional, and human support to grieving mothers, marginalized individuals, and young people struggling with depression, anxiety, or deep hopelessness.
Sharing the love of God through prayer, service, and compassion.
Showing them that TODAY there is a way out, a purpose, and a new opportunity in Him.
Our Vision
To be a voice of hope in the desert—
A space of restoration for broken souls.
An instrument of God supporting family unity through love, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.
Reminding the world that even in the midst of intense pain, sadness, depression, anxiety, or panic, God can bring peace where there is chaos,
Strengthen where there is weakness,
Lift up those who have fallen,
Comfort the afflicted,
And show love to the abandoned.
Jeremiah 31:3
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”
Exodus 19:5
“Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine”
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

What Do We Do?
Support for Grieving Mothers and Struggling Youth
We provide spiritual and emotional support to mothers who have lost a child and to young people who feel abandoned or emotionally unbalanced, helping them move toward inner healing and discover the divine purpose that God already has for their lives.
We walk with them through prayer, meaningful conversations, in-person and virtual gatherings, and physical and digital resources that strengthen the soul, spirit, and body.
We also organize community activities across various states to honor the memory of our children who are now in heaven, turning pain into purpose through the love and restoration that can only be found in God.
Compassionate Support, Free of Charge
We offer free therapy sessions with experienced pastors, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
These professionals are here to support mothers and their children through emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental challenges.
Whether you’re facing sadness, anxiety, or imbalance, you’re not alone—help is available.
“We also support single mothers who have faced the loss of a child. With our financial assistance and guidance, we help them continue their education and open new doors to a future full of hope, faith, and opportunities. We believe that every mother deserves the chance to rebuild her life and reach her full potential, guided and strengthened by God.”
